Beltane and summer took a turn
there
are still bees in the world |
||
| and badgers in the woods | ||
the world
tree grows and the crows fly |
||
| lambs suck fingers when ewes aren't watching | ||
oaks in flower,
flowers on oak |
||
| the three trees (willow, alder and black poplar) with feet in the two named river (The Twins / Padbury Brook) by Isis' unflooded temple | ||
beech leafs
- this year's and last year's |
a little after Beltane, the may flowered, the sun shone, the cuckoos arrived
and
later in May, Molly and I went to visit the cats under the bluebells in
the woods |
||
bluebells
swirling by |
||
colour tides
as solar alchemy recreates the woods |
||
but Molly
insisted on going through that wardrobe |
